Kyroot to :04. Picture the brain as a silent, restless oceanic sphere always in motion: Wet Brain. The Dry Brain is like a thin electrically charged atmosphere surrounding the WB-sphere. The DB treats the WB like a crude, uncouth, illiterate relative whose behavior it must continually explain, but on the basis that its explanations must be made up on the run, willy-nilly, without recourse or relief: it is the making up of ‘you’. E.g., “I’m not responsible, it is the fault of the environment” vs. genetics, i.e., the WB causal roiling.

Connected to advertising euphemisms: E.g., banks—“there’s more to banking than money”; army: “peace is our profession”. The DB makes similar non-related proclamations of purpose, plans and interests not harbored by the WB whatsoever. Moreover, the DB denies interests germane to the WB. This all amounts to DB attempting to change WB via talk. Talk about “what kind of a guy I am” is commentary/confession of DB’s struggles and losses to the WB. From a more complex view all talk is talk between the WB and DB, exclusively concerned with the difference between them.

“Don’t let them get you down”: “them” = potential energy drain position. Brain Smile = energy win position.

And Kyroot Said…

The menace to each universe is unique to that universe —
for now.

The secret to the sequence-of-events in some places lies not
in the events, nor in the sequence, but in the sequence-of-
events.

***

Heard one guy say he thought the power steering had gone out
on his planet.

***

Headline in another world’s fishwrapper: “Attempted Reform
Thwarts Reform.”

Never mind the temperature, don’t fret over the cost of
fiberglass, your own inner voices are all the insulation you’ll
ever need.

***

As he skipped from star to star, I heard this one creature
singing, “Off the rack, off the rack, we’re all off the bloody
rack.”

***

One man’s dream, the community’s project; the community’s
dream, one man’s peril.

***

On some worlds, a man who measures his drink is not
considered very thirsty.

***

He who continues to tell you what he’s trying to do is still
uncertain as to what he’s trying to do.

***

If all you used was “pertinent” info, you wouldn’t be much
better off than you are now.

***

Ponder this: In some states what others think of you
doesn’t cost themù anything.

***

One inventor plans to put a bell on lack-of-reward so that
it might tell people something.

***

One chap used to sometimes stand at the edge of his universe
and cry out, “Come back, come back,” and, it would, it would.

***

Silence has its own dominance, brilliance and authority.

***

One fellow noted that at least dark clouds overhead reminded
some people that they had a head.

***

Only cars have “scheduled maintenance.”

***

The zip code of this one place I visited was, “Double-O-
overlapping.”

***

On this one planet, no artist is ever allowed to “rival his
own masterpiece.” (The prohibition has never had to be
enforced.)

***

Nouns come and go, but verbs are forever.

***

All dogs have some good advice for fleas.
